Charging your phone faster is not complicated, but most guides give advice that does not apply to India. This guide sticks to what actually works.
1. Use a fast charger that matches your phone
Most phones sold in India support fast charging — USB Power Delivery (PD), Qualcomm Quick Charge, or a proprietary standard. The charger that came in the box often does not deliver full-speed charging.

The alain HyperLux 65W GaN charger supports USB-C PD at up to 65W — compatible with most fast-charging phones and laptops in India. BIS certified.
2. Use a USB-C cable, not Micro-USB
Micro-USB cables cap out at 18W in most cases. USB-C cables support much higher wattage. The alain Deluxe USB-C cable supports 80W. If you are using Micro-USB with a USB-C phone via an adapter, you are losing significant speed.
3. Charge from a wall socket, not a laptop USB port
Laptop USB ports deliver 5-10W at most. A wall charger delivers 25-65W. For fastest charging, always use a wall socket.
4. Turn on airplane mode while charging
With airplane mode on, your phone stops searching for network signals and running background processes — giving you 10-20% faster charge time.
5. Keep your phone cool
Batteries charge more slowly when hot. Remove the case and keep the phone in a ventilated space. Charging in direct sunlight reduces charging speed and damages battery health.
6. Use a fast power bank for on-the-go charging

Not all power banks charge your phone at full speed. Check the output wattage before buying. The alain PowerFlex delivers 15W output. The alain Pocket Charge Pro delivers 22.5W — fastest compact option in the alain range.
