If something is wrong with your alain product — manufacturing defect, arrived damaged — we fix it. Fast. No runaround.

Before you contact us — video proof is mandatory

For all return, replacement, and warranty claims, two videos are required:

  • Unboxing video — showing you opening the sealed package
  • Handover video — showing the product being received from the delivery person

Claims without both videos cannot be processed. We recommend recording these for every order as soon as it arrives.

1. The 7-day window

Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. This covers manufacturing defects and delivery damage only.

2. What happens next

We replace first. If the same model is temporarily out of stock, we replace with an equivalent or better model. A refund is offered only if we cannot replace or repair the product after inspection.

3. Free pickup

We arrange free pickup from your doorstep anywhere in India. You pay nothing for return shipping on valid defective claims.

4. What we need from you

  • Product unused, in original sealed packaging
  • All original accessories, manual, and warranty card included
  • No physical damage caused by the customer
  • BIS Standard Mark and serial sticker intact
  • Both required videos (unboxing + handover)

5. What cannot be returned

  • Products that have been opened and used
  • Products with broken or missing seals
  • Products with physical damage or liquid exposure
  • Claims made after the 7-day window

6. Warranty

Warranty period is listed on each product page. Check your product page before purchasing.

alain products also carry a 30-day extended warranty on purchases made at alainstore.in — over and above the 7-day replacement window.

7. Refund timeline

Once we receive and inspect the returned product: refund processed within 7 business days to your original payment method.

This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the E-Commerce Rules.
